About Lee
I am Lee Chalmers, a London based Development Consultant and Huffington Post blogger. This means I am obsessed with people doing things better and developing themselves to be better people and better to the world. Better is a theme. Not more, better.
I work with individuals on their own lives through my coaching company Authentic Living, and with huge corporations through other consultancies such as Teleos Leadership Institute, YSC, The Principle Practice and TXG.
I also do this really cool thing called Getting Things Done and am one of only 3 trained GTD coaches in the UK, working through Next Action Associates.
As well as the day job, which I love, I am also dedicated to the world being a better place for women. In 2004 I co-founded the Kingston Womens Network, now in it’s 6th year. In 2006 I made a documentary film on the future of Women, Visionary Dialogues, shown in the UK, Europe and the USA.
My favourite creation to date, In 2008 I co-founded The Downing Street Project, an initiative to increase the representation of women in the world of politics, which has an active social network.
I am also a total technology geek, having read science fiction since I was about 8 years old. I am a Wired fan, love mobile technology and all things Apple. Though people think it’s strange, I believe that out interaction with technology changes our state as human beings and I can see our evolution emerging from that.
