I’ve been working in the world of learning and development for 16 years. When I was in my teens and twenties I really didn’t know who I was and seriously lacked confidence. My email address was even [email protected] Over the last 16 years I've gone through a process of growth that led me to owning a successful coaching business, training thousands of women through my not-for-profit The Parliament Project , running for election to the Scottish Parliament and speaking on live TV without freaking out.
Like many of us, I’ve spent a lot of time chasing qualifications. I have three degrees and am writing up my doctorate on women’s experiences of online abuse. Yeah, cheery. And I’m a Master Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. I’m also qualified in a bunch of psychometrics, have taught at Edinburgh University Business School and Chicago Business School and am an Associate Programme Director at London Business School. You can read all that stuff over on Linkedin.
But my passion is helping women fulfil their dreams in life, especially at midlife and that is my midlife focus.
I'm not special. I'm just like you. I'm tired of women of a certain age being written off, by themselves and others. We are a force to be reckoned with and we can rule the world.
